RAW CHILLI CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

Serves 2-4

INGREDIENTS

- 1 cup pecans or almonds (soaked in water for at least 8 hours) or fresh nut pulp leftover from nut milk

- 2 cups pitted medjool dates (add an extra 1/2 cup if using deglet nour)

- 3-4 tablespoons of raw cacao

- 1-2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup (or sweetener of your choice)

- 1 pinch sea salt or pink Himalayan salt

- 1/2 tablespoon of cayenne pepper powder

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place pecans or almonds in food processor and pulse until it forms a crumbly mixture. 

2. Then add the dates and blend again before adding the raw cacao and maple syrup until it forms a ‘dough’ ball in your processor. 

3. Place the sticky mixture into a baking tray. 

4. Place in the freezerfor at least 1 hour to set. 

5. Store in the fridge. Can be kept in the fridge for several days.
